WE'RE HIRING!

Are you an outgoing, positive person with great customer service skills who enjoys working with youth and their caregivers in a busy and active library?

We are looking for the perfect match to join our friendly Youth Services Team and work 10 to 18 hours per week, which includes day, weekend, and evening hours. Flexibility a must.

OPEN SUNDAYS 4-8PM

Looking for a quiet haven as your busy weekend winds down? Visit your library on Sundays from 4-8pm. These unique hours support and assist students, families and others who like to do research, study, or enjoy a late weekend library visit to get some new books. We hope to see you soon!

SPRING ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR

We are hosting our first ever Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturday, May 3rd from 10-2pm! Local artisans will be selling jewelry, home décor, beauty products, homemade baked goods, & much more! This event is sponsored by the Library Teen Advisory Club and all proceeds will fund new teen materials. Have a question? Email Alex or Heather at askalibrarian@homerlibrary.org. Mark your calendar to join us for an exciting, craft-filled event!

Working late and can't make it to the Library to pick up your reserves?
Try our new after-hours pickup service!

Homer Township Public Library has 12 lockers where you can pick up materials even when the library is closed.

To request after-hours pickup, call us at 708-301-7908 with your library card number. Your materials will be checked out to you and placed in a locker for you to pick up.

Your account must be in good standing, and you must call at least two (2) hours before our closing time to have your items placed in a locker. Items will be held for 24 hours.

The lockers are located to the left of the entry doors around the corner under the overhang.
