SUNDAY HOURS 4-8PM ARE HERE!
The Homer Township Library begins popular 4-8pm Sunday hours on September 7th. Many consider the 4-8pm hours very unique. The genesis of these Sunday hours began when we realized other area libraries open from 1-5pm on Sunday. We decided to offer early evening hours to extend opportunities to visit a library and benefit library customers. Initially Homer Library was open Sundays from 5-9pm, and as we assessed peak use on Sundays we eventually settled on the hours of 4-8pm. Time and again we are delighted to hear positive resident comments regarding our 4-8pm early evening hours. We chose to think out of the box for our community and strong usage patterns indicate it was the right choice. Drop in and enjoy an evening with your family soon!
