SPECIAL NEEDS STORY TIME

This program may be enjoyed by children ages 1 to 3 years old but is especially designed for children with special needs challenges. It combines books, songs, movement, and  activities. If your child has difficulty sitting through one of the libraryís other story times, this inclusive program may be just what you are looking for! Children must attend with a parent or caregiver.                  

Registration required.


SIMPLY STORIES
Mondays 6:00 P.M.
Wednesdays 10:00 A.M. 
March 31 - May 7, 2014
 
Stop in for some terrific tales, rhymes, action verses and songs on Monday evenings at 6:00 or Wednesday mornings at 10:00.
 
Best for ages 3-6. Children younger than three are welcome but must be accompanied by a caregiver. 
                     
No registration is required.

MUSIC AND MOVEMENT WITH MARY @ HOMER LIBRARY
Music and Movement with Mary @ Homer Library is offered on Wednesdays @ 11:30 beginning April 1, 2014
Registration for the new six week session begins March 17, 2014.
 
This class, for ages 0-5 years, offers creative music and movement activities to develop and stimulate an early love of music. The class is limited to 10 children with a parent or caregiver who must attend.
Fee:  $18 for the full six week session. Payment may be made through e-pay on the library website or in person at the library. Your registration will be confirmed upon receipt of the fee. No refunds after April 2, 2014.
 

STORYTIME
For children ages 3 through 6. Introduce children to books and reading with stories and crafts that help develop early literacy and listening skills.
 
Classes are offered on:
 
Monday at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 
Tuesday at 9:30 and 1:00 p.m.
 
Registration is required and children must be 3 years old at the time of registration.
 
Polish-English Storytime is offered on Thursdays at 1:30. Registration is required and children must be 3 years old at the time of registration.

Wiggles and Giggles
 
This early literacy program is designed to enhance the parent-child relationship through shared enjoyment of play! Each half hour themed session will be a time of simple stories, fingerplays, bouncing rhymes, music and movement to stimulate your child's growth.
 
This program is for children up to 35 months and a caregiver.
 
Wiggles and Giggles classes are offered on:
 
Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.
Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
 
Registration is required and may be done online.
