Registration for the new three week session begins June 6, 2016.
This class, for ages 0-5 years, offers creative music and movement activities to develop and stimulate an early love of music. The classes are limited to 10 children with a parent or caregiver who must attend.
Registration and fee of $9 per family for the full three week session required.  
Payment is due one week in advance of the class or child's registration will be removed. 
Deadline for cancellation, with refund, is one week prior to the event. 

STORYTIME
For children ages 3, 4 and 5. Introduces children to books and reading with stories and crafts that help develop early literacy and listening skills.
Classes are offered:
Monday, June 20, 27 & July 11 @ 9:30 a.m.
Wednesday, June 22, 29 and July 13 @ 9:30 a.m.
 
No registration is required. Limit 30. Children must be 3 years old at the time of registration.
 
Polish-English Storytime is offered on Thursday, June 23, 30 and July7 at 1:30 p.m.  No registration is required. Limit 30. Children must be 3 years old at the time of registration.

WIGGLES AND GIGGLES
 
This early literacy program is designed to enhance the parent-child relationship through shared enjoyment of play! Each half hour themed session will be a time of simple stories, fingerplays, bouncing rhymes, music and movement to stimulate your child's growth.
Wiggles and Giggles programs are offered:
March 28 - May 5, 2016
Monday, June 20, 27 and July 11 at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, June 23, 30 and July 14 at 10:30 a.m.
 
Registration is required. Limit 10 children. This program is for children up to 35 months with a caregiver.

STORYWALK CHALLENGE
April - August 2016
 

Visit the StoryWalk trail at Sendra Park (14727 S. Green Brier Lane). The new book is Dog Vs. Cat by Chris Gall. 
Take the StoryWalk Challenge!

Register for the Summer Reading program beginning June 13 through July 23 at the library. Questions pertaining to the StoryWalk will be on the reading log, visit the StoryWalk and answer the three questions! Return your completed StoryWalk Challenge questions to the library and earn an additional entry in the Summer Reading prize drawings! 

OLYMPIC CHALLENGE: READ FOR THE WIN

Race into the library for lots of fun and prizes this summer! How can you earn chances for great prizes? Read 600 minutes, check in weekly and visit the StoryWalk. Registration begins on Monday, June 13.

NAME OUR SHARK!

Celebrate Shark week by helping us name our shark! Write a name for the shark on a fishy cut out. Turn it in and get a chance to win the Super Shark Surprise!

MAKEY MAKEY WORKSHOP

Do you want to use a banana as a piano? How about an orange? You will learn computer programming using a Makey Makey! Use Scratch coding to learn how to program a banana to play a song! Learn about electricity and how easy it can be to add a little light to creations at home. During the workshop, kids will make circuits using LED lights and find out how to complete a circuit with solder.
