We’re going old school on Tuesday, April 18 at 7pm and writing notes, letters, and postcards for you to give to your friends or family! We’ll have a ton of supplies for you to use: fancy letterpress cards, fun stationery and postcards, colorful gel pens, washi tape, and more! For teens only; the adult Write On event is on April 11. For teens in grades 6-12. Registration required.
Teen Manga & Anime Club
Love manga & anime? Come hang out at the Teen Manga & Anime Group meetings! We watch anime episodes, play manga-inspired games, have cosplay parties, & more. Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month, so the next one is on Thursday, April 20 from 7-8:30pm. And it's our cosplay party, so come dressed in your finest cosplay outfit! For teens in grades 6-12.
Fill up on garlic parmesan breadsticks and gooey cheesesticks at our Breadstick Night on Thursday, April 27 at 6pm! We’ll have plenty of dipping sauces for you to try too: Buffalo, Ranch, and more! We’ll watch our favorite YouTube videos while we eat. For teens in grades 6-12. Registration required.
Teen Book Club: The Distance From Me to You
Join us for our next Teen Book Club meeting on Tuesday, May 1 at 7pm! The book selection (The Distance From Me to You by Marina Gessner) is available at the library. The TBC meets on the first Tuesday of each month. For teens in grades 6-12.
Teen Volunteer Night
The next Teen Volunteer Night is Thursday, May 4 from 6-8pm. It is held on the first Thursday of every month. Teens in grades 6-12 can sign up for these volunteer nights, where you’ll be helping us with basic tasks such as cutting items for storytime prep, straightening shelves, etc.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Space is limited to 6 teens per session. Registration is online & opens on the 1st day of the month for that month's session (for example, sign-up begins on January 1 for the January session).
Cards for Kids & Seniors
Our first session of Cards for Kids & Seniors is on Thursday, May 11 from 6-8pm! Spread some smiles and get service hours! Create handmade cards or letters to brighten someone's day. They'll be sent to Card for Hospitalized Kids and Love for the Elderly charities. We'll give you tips on what to write, along with the supplies needed. For teens in grades 6-12.
