Dan Laib got his start as an artist drawing Sesame Street characters with his crayons at the age of five years old. He always loved to draw and create and started selling his paintings on canvas and wood at city festivals and before long, he was selling caricatures too. He has entertained with his caricature art at major venues in Chicago, IL and in recent years has tapped into his passion for teaching art and workshops in libraries and schools all over Chicagoland. He will demonstrate how he does his caricature portraits. He will give a short review of facial proportions and talk about where he gets his inspiration and how he exaggerates facial features.
