Do you like to create art, build things, work with tools, or wonder how things work? In Design to Discover, you’ll use different tools to make a Scribblebot, sewn, paper and even Squishy circuits! Try out 3D printing, littleBits circuits kits and take a toy apart to see how it’s made. Make, do and learn at the library - electrify your creative powers!

Monday, June 19: Learn about electricity by building circuits with switches, lights, battery packs and buzzers using a variety of tools. Also, use Squishy Circuits, conductive and insulating play dough to create circuits in a fun, hands-on way. Mess with Makey Makey to turn anything conductive into a keyboard!

Registration required. Age 8-13. Limit 12.

Funding for this grant was awarded by Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS.)
