Book Donations and Sales

We gladly accept donations of books, CDs, and DVDs in good condition whenever the library is open.

We try to find a new home for every book donated to the library.  Newer items in good condition may find their way to our library shelves, ready for readers to borrow.  Other items are sold on our Book Sale shelf adjacent to the Library's Community Room.  A significant portion of donations are saved for our biannual Used Book Sale, where they find eager new owners.

Proceeds from our Used Book Sale directly contribute to purchasing new books for our collection, ensuring that our library continues to offer an up-to-date selection for our patrons to enjoy.

We make every effort that every book finds its reader.  For items not placed on our library shelves or sold at our sale, we collaborate with not-for-profit agencies dedicated to matching books with new owners, furthering our commitment to spreading the joy of reading.

Your book donations truly makes a difference in fostering a love reading within our community.
