KIDS PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS

Like hanging out with kids? Volunteer to help at our kids programs! Teens assist library staff with set up, oversee activities, and clean up. It's a lot of fun!

Search our calendar of teen volunteer events and look for Teen Volunteer Event: Kids Craft Program or Teen Volunteer Event: Kids Program to sign up! Due to high demand, please register for only one kids program volunteer event per month.

At-Home Teen Volunteer Projects

We host one in-person teen volunteer event per month at the library throughout the school year, but we also offer at-home volunteer projects! The deadline for these projects is May 31, 2025.

NOTE: Service hours for at-home projects are open to teens living in Homer Glen or Lockport or students attending a school located within Homer Glen or Lockport. Service hours for at-home projects cannot be used for court ordered community service.
