Do you like to create art, build things, work with tools, or wonder how things work? In Design to Discover, you’ll use different tools to make a Scribblebot, sewn, paper and even Squishy circuits! Try out 3D printing, littleBits circuits kits and take a toy apart to see how it’s made. Make, do and learn at the library - electrify your creative powers!
Monday, July 10th: Sewn Circuits! Make an electrified wrist cuff! Experiment with a battery, conductive thread and an LED to learn how to connect a circuit. Then design a way for it to work on a wrist cuff. Use pliers, scissors, conductive thread and sewing needles to put the pieces together. Watch your friends’ eyes light up, when you model your electric wrist band!
Registration required. Age 8-13. Limit 12.
