Join us for an evening with the #1 New York Times bestselling author and award-winning humorist Jenny Lawson as she discusses her most recent memoir, Broken (in the best possible way), and her brilliantly funny body of work.

Lawson is a journalist, author, and blogger known for her great candor in sharing her struggle with mental illness. Her previous books Let’s Pretend This Never Happened and Furiously Happy were #1 New York Times bestsellers.

She will be joined in conversation with R. Eric Thomas, bestselling author, award-winning playwright, and screenwriter. His book Here for It: Or, How to Save Your Soul in America was featured as a Read with Jenna pick on NBC’s Today.

This event is made possible by Illinois Libraries Present, a statewide collaboration among public libraries offering high-quality events. Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).

This program will take place online on Zoom. A link will be emailed to all registered patrons shortly before the program. Don't see the email? Check your spam folder!
