Silvia Moreno-Garcia, the bestselling and award-winning author of Mexican Gothic, discusses her newest book, Velvet Was the Night, and her genre-defying mashups of cultural noir and Lovecraftian horror. Velvet Was the Night is one of The New York Times' 100 Notable Books of 2021. She will be joined in conversation with author Gus Moreno.
