Kim Sigafus is an Ojibwa author who resides in Freeport. Formally a Minnesota girl, her family is from White Earth Reservation which is located in the northwest corner of Minnesota. Kim will be presenting a program on Native Harvest. She will be discussing Native foods including The Three Sisters planting, talk a little bit about the first Thanksgiving from a Native perspective, and sharing a family recipe passed down through generations of her family using wild rice.
