Event Details

Dr. Michael Bradaric will review the history of using plants as sources of modern drugs. Learn about the important plants used for the production of chemotherapy, the treatment of pain, heart disease, and infection; plants used by medicine and known to gardeners all over the world. People interested in herbal medicines, drugs, the drug discovery process, big pharma, and drug interactions are encouraged to attend. 

Dr. Bradaric has over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical teaching and research. He is the current Director of Pharmacology education at Rush University, an avid gardener, and resident with his family in Homer Glen.
