Nominating Petitions Will Be Available for Library Trustee

Homer Township Public Library wishes to announce that the Library will have nominating petitions available for persons who wish to run in the April 1, 2025 Consolidated General Election.

The following will be nominated for election: Three Library Trustees (four-year terms) and Two Library Trustees (two-year unexpired terms).

Nominating petitions and all necessary forms will be available during business hours starting on August 20, 2024 at the Homer Township Public Library, 14320 W. 151^st Street, Homer Glen, IL.  Business Manager available to answer questions Monday thru Friday 8:30-4pm at 708-745-9270.

The first day to file a petition is Tuesday, November 12th, 2024. The last day is Monday, November 18, 2024 until 5 pm.

Position on the ballot is determined by time and receipt of petitions. Should more than one petition be filed at the same time by mail or in person a lottery to determine ballot order will be held at Homer Township Public Library at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
