Winter is a beautiful season especially when nature is covered in a blanket of snow. But it is tough for wild animals. Some animals must migrate to warmer climates, some stay and hibernate. To survive cold and frost with no food around, they must stuff their bellies with food in the fall and stack it away in their nests, dens or underground tunnels for winter time. Some animals change their furs into thick ones, even with a completely different color! This week read and learn about many animals trying to survive winter.
