It is garden time! Get ready with a to-do list so that, whenever you get a chance, you can get your gardening work done. Spring is often a terribly short season. Some years there are days in May that are hot enough to feel like summer. To avoid the heat, do all your gardening tasks before it gets too hot to work outdoors comfortably and enjoy the flowers and foods you planted all summer long.
READ ALOUD: Lola Plants a Garden by Anna McQuinn. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.
VIDEO: How to start a garden.
COLORING SHEET: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
Visit the library website calendar for more activities this week.
