Do you like characters who are good or bad, nasty or nice? Sometimes it is hard to figure out! Check out these read aloud stories to see whether Bruce the bear, Dragon and the Bad Seed are really so terrible or if there might be something good about them after all. Activities, videos and coloring sheets add to the fun.

READ ALOUD: Dragon Was Terrible by Kelly DiPucchio. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.

VIDEO: Do Dragons exist? Curious Questions with Answers - Educational Videos by Mocomi Kids.

ACTIVITY: Dragon paper roll tube craft. Materials: 1 paper tube, 4 green pomp oms, green paint or construction paper, 2 wiggle eyes, strips of red and yellow streamers or tissue paper. Instructions: cover the tube with green paper or paint, glue 2 pom poms at both ends of the tube for eyes and nose, glue wiggle eyes onto 1 set of pom poms, glue ends of red & yellow tissue inside the “nose” end of the tube. When complete, blow through the tube to make the dragon breathe fire!

COLORING SHEET: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
