Summer is a great time go outdoors and enjoy nice weather and beautiful nature! Have fun playing and make sure to see, hear, smell, and maybe touch some plants, animals or insects.

READ ALOUD: I See Summer by Charles Ghigna. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.

ACTIVITY: Give your kids a magnifying glass and send them on a bug hunt! Have them make a bug journal as they go. There are a ton of creepy crawlies all around. To make things educational go to the library and borrow a book or two about bugs.

COLORING SHEET: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!

Visit the library website calendar for more activities this week.
