Do you love food? Well who doesn’t?! You are invited to go on a culinary adventure to celebrate and explore things that are eaten. Books highlighted this week are just a few of the wonderful items that help you experience new people and animals, places and foods!

READ ALOUD: Can I Eat That? by Joshua David Stein. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the library’s website for other books to enjoy. 

VIDEO: Kids Try Famous Foods From Children's Books by Epicurious. Kids try some of the most famous foods from children's books, including Green Eggs and Ham, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Dragons Love Tacos, Winnie-the-Pooh, Curious George Goes to a Chocolate Factory, and The Giant Jam. 

ACTIVITY: Try a new food! Check out a cookbook from the library to try a new recipe or order food from a new restaurant. Yum!

COLORING PAGE: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
