Do you love food? Well who doesn’t?! You are invited to go on a culinary adventure to celebrate and explore things that are eaten. Books highlighted this week are just a few of the wonderful items that help you experience new people and animals, places and foods!

READ ALOUD: How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food? by Jane Yolen. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the library’s website for other books to enjoy. 

VIDEO: Dinosaur Songs for Kids—Learning About Herbivores, Carnivores & Omnivores by Little BoBo Rhymes.

ACTIVITY: Dino Delights - On a slice of bread, layer whatever you like to eat on a sandwich i.e. ham and swiss cheese, peanut butter and bananas, avocado and havarti. Use a dinosaur cookie cutter to create dino shaped sandwiches. Enjoy your prehistoric treat!

COLORING PAGE: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
