Event Details

Winter can be SNOW much fun! Enjoy read aloud stories featuring sledding, skating and some special snow people. Activities, videos and coloring sheets add to your winter fun.  

READ ALOUD: Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.

VIDEO: The Snowy Day. Ezra Jack Keats's classic story, with animation by Jay Boucher and narration and sound by Napoleon Maddox.

ACTIVITY: Build a snowman or take it a step further and have a snow sculpture competition!

COLORING SHEET: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
