Sun and fun times of summer are here! Get your spirit of adventure ready. Join us this week for plenty of fun ideas on how to enjoy summer days and evenings to the full.

READ ALOUD: And Then Comes Summer by Tom Brenner. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library’s website for other books to enjoy.

ACTIVITY: Ask a parent to help you make a list a fun activities you could have this summer. Use ideas from the book and your imagination! Perhaps…going to a beach or a lake, camping (even in your backyard!), making sand castles (even in a sand box!), visiting different parks and playgrounds, playing cards and board games, playing with water balloons, running under water sprinkler and so on… You can also draw all your summer adventures!
