AMAZING ANIMAL - STORIES AND ACTIVITIES

Check out some amazing animals this week with great read alouds and videos for kids. For more fun, print the attached activity sheets and decorate. Each day holds new, interesting things to do.

Read Aloud: Sometimes I Like to Curl Up in a Ball by Vicki Churchill. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.

Activity: Act out some of the things that wombat did in the book: make yourself small by curling up in a ball; jump as high as you can and see if you make noise when you land; smile big and swing your arms while you walk around; stand super still like a tree, then reach your arms up high, high, high to the sky; have fun making silly faces; run, skip or hop with you siblings or your grownups; at bedtime, read a story with your grownup, curl up in a cozy ball, and fall fast asleep.

Coloring Sheet: Print and decorate the Wombat coloring sheet with crayons, markers, stickers or whatever inspires you!
