Join us every day this week for Science Story Time! A science themed story is paired with a related video, a simple activity and a coloring sheet. Each day has a different story, video, activity and coloring sheet to engage your budding scientist!

Book: Newton and Me by Lynne Mayer. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.

Video: Pushes and Pulls by GenerationGenius.

Activity: Go outside and test some pushing and pulling activities. 

Roll a ball on grass and then roll a ball on the sidewalk. Roll a ball down and then up, a small hill or a ramp.  Kick a ball gently, and then kick the ball harder. Are some activities faster, slower or more difficult?

Coloring Sheet:  Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
