Join us every day this week for Science Story Time! A science themed story is paired with a related video, a simple activity and a coloring sheet. Each day has a different story, video, activity and coloring sheet to engage your budding scientist!

Book: The Day I Met My Shadow by Melissa Brun. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.

Video: How to Make Shadow Puppets from Sesame Studios.

Activity: Go outside and find your shadow. What does your shadow do when you jump, stretch, bend, and hop on one leg? Make your shadow do something silly. Have someone trace your shadow with chalk.

Coloring Sheet: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
