Kindness improves the quality of life in our homes as well as in the community. It brings people together. Doing good for others feels good. Showing kindness to others is just as rewarding as receiving it from someone else.

READ ALOUD: My No, No, No Day by Rebecca Patterson. Sometimes we are crabby and don’t feel like being kind and then someone is kind to us and gives us another chance.  Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the library’s website for other books to enjoy.

VIDEO: An act of kindness towards us can change our life.

ACTIVITY: Today you are going to read a book about practicing kindness or have someone read a book to you. The Kindness Quilt is a good book to read about practicing kindness.

COLORING SHEET: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!

Visit the library website calendar for more stories and activities each day this week.
