Event Details

Lots of families travel during the summer. But maybe this year you have no such plans. Instead, this week, you can visit Egypt, Australian, Africa, Europe (with Spiderman), get a close look at airplanes or travel with animal characters just by reading a book. Books highlighted this week are a few of the wonderful items that help you travel to and experience new people, places and things!

READ ALOUD: Amazing Airplanes by Tony Mitton. Check out Hoopla, available on the library’s website, to enjoy a selection of great travel books online!

ACTIVITY: Make a paper airplane. Directions for nearly 50 paper planes! 

COLORING PAGE: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
