Celebrate Independence Day with patriotic stories, videos, coloring sheets, kids’ games and activities for the whole family! Learn about the meaning and history of 4th of July while having fun on this special holiday!

Read aloud: The Night Before the Fourth of July by Natasha Wing. Use Hoopla, available on the library’s website, to enjoy a selection of great Independence Day books online!

Video: 4th of July Trivia for Kids by Homeschool Pop 

Activity: Put together a Patriotic Playlist - Inspiring and fun songs by Aaron Copland, Bruce Springsteen, Lee Greenwood, Miley Cyrus, Chuck Berry, or John Philip Sousa, will add some lively fun to your fourth of July celebration!

Coloring sheet: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
